NOUN

A noun is an important term in English. 

A noun is a name of any place, any object, a person, an animal or an idea. 

NOUN and its types

Examples:

chair, , , hospital, cup, room, man, doctor, book ,engineer, dog, cat, man, Jasmine, Muneeb, ASAD, Lahore, London, New York. Each of these nouns is a name of a person, a place, a thing or an animal.

A noun may also be a name of an abstract feeling or an idea such as love, happiness, anger, frustration, etc.

Examples.

Names of things: Book, table, camera, cup, chair, mobile, picture, bottle, key, computer.

Names of places: Lahore, Paris, New York, University, cinema, hospital, school, Faisal mosque.

Names of persons: Muneeb, Sarfaraz, ASAD, Zahid, boy, man engineer, teacher, doctor,

Names of animals: Cat, peacock, dog, rabbit, hen,  penguin, bird, horse, nightingale.

Name of a feeling or idea: love, Sincerity, anger, frustration, happiness etc.
