it is the branch of dentistry in which we concerned about the diseases and injuries to the human dental pulp and its related soft tissues. This term is derived from two Greek words - "endo" meaning inside & "odons" meaning tooth.

Who is Endodontist?
The person who is specialized in the treatment and diagnosis for human dental pulp and its related soft tissues. Endodontist helps in diagnosing and treatment the pulpal infection. if we talk about the " PULP" it's a soft tissue lie in the central of tooth chamber that contain specialized nerves, blood vessels and connective tissues and its main role is to nourish the tissues.

Procedure
Endodontics sometimes called " RC" Dentists. RC means Root Canal Dentists. in RCT we remove normal or infected pulp and infection. pulp may be damaged due to many reasons. like sometimes tooth cracked, pulpal infections, apical lesions, cysts, or due to necrotic pulp.
What is difference between Dentist and Endodontics?
There is difference between dentist and endodontics. Both perform RCT but an Endodontist do RCT much more better than a general Dentist.
How to Detect a teeth for Endo Treatment?
There are many tests to detect an infected teeth. Like
TTP ( Tender to percussion )
Tooth Vitality tester
Hot or cold test
and many more.
How To Perform an Endodontic Procedure?
There are many techniques to access this treatment procedure it depends upon the location, position and region of infected teeth. In most common cases we first access to our cavity and then remove noxious material. if pulpal infection is involved then remove infected pulp and do RCT. This may become two or visits. The Final visit is Obturation in which we insert GP-Points with sealer. And To preserve the tooth anatomy we recommend crowns, etc

What is RCT means root canal treatment?
RCT is a dental procedure that removes an infected dental pulp that is present in the soft central part of tooth. Every teeth has one, two or three canals in it. Therefore, before doing RCT we should know about the Anatomy of every teeth means canals anatomy.
